Today Edenwaith released Permanent Eraser 2.4.1 which focuses on speed improvements, bug fixes, and new features.

• New Features - A new Service is available as a plug-in for Snow Leopard users, which replaces the Finder Automator action used in Mac OS 10.4 and 10.5. Also included are the Automator workflows are now 64-bit, which will work properly with Snow Leopard's Automator.
• Speed - A new method is used to determine the size of the files to be erased, which is up to 7x faster than the previous method.
• Bug Fixes - Several bugs and crashes were fixed in this release.
